Think Quick

There's the clock, "tick tick" 

Telling you "do quick" 

You have to act in a flick 

In order to get to the peak 

The peak is like a stick 

Longer than any wick 

But with the proper nick 

Can be shorter than a beak

As human you have to think 

Your thoughts have to come in a blink 

New ideas flowing with the sound *clink *

All ideas coming in a link 

Think think think 

Let your ideas flow a sync 

Such that it can be put down in ink 

Give ideas from which others can drink 

Rather than be flushed down the sink 

Quick thought can never be bought 

It can neither be taught 

Rather, it can be sought

And hence gotten for naught 

Your thinking should be quick and good 

Your thinking should edify more than food 

Your thinking shouldn't depend on your mood 

Your thinking shouldn't be influenced by your hood 

Lord make me think quick 

And help me attain a great peak 

Don't let me fall sick 

So my life can click

With a flick that will forever stick??
