Salvation

On my knees I went to pray
To ask for Jesus' saving Grace
With a contrite spirit and a broken heart
I pray to seek my heavenly father’s face

My sins I confessed
To sin no more I vowed
Gripped with fear and conviction
My prayer unfolds with utmost precision

“God if you will save me”
“I will serve you forever”
“Let my sins be forgiven me; oh Lord”
“Your mercy I seek; my God”

My sins I listed
I showed that ‘all’ are regretted
With hot tears I cried
With unshaken faith I prayed

“Your sins are forgiven; Go in peace”
“Your sins are forgotten; Sin no more”
My spirit is free, my burden light
I felt heavenly wings taking me on a flight

A classification for the pure
Diseases it can cure
By faith it is gotten
An experience that can’t be forgotten

Freedom for sinners
An experience for winners
Happiness like none other
Joy beyond explanation

Angel of My Dreams (A short story) Episode 1

I saw this girl on a sunny afternoon. She was like an angel from above. Her beauty radiated like the sunlight. Her attractiveness left other girls in a shadow. “Oh my God!!! This must be an Angel”. “Did she leave her wings in heaven”? “Are the wings invincible on Earth or are they invincible only to humans?” These thoughts raced over and over again in my mind.
