People's resources squandered
Citizens sweat embezzled 
Taxpayers fund misappropriated 
All by comedians cracking us up 

Whipping us till we weep 
Strokes of our sweat lashing us 
Stockpiles of our cash in their tanks 
Small houses are now unregistered banks 

Cash in tanks 
Flowing even in their sewage 
No digital hideout 
Even in this new age 

Cracking us up with jokes 
With hot tears we receive the strokes 
No questions asked, no probe 
Crying inward yet with no hope 

A joke

A big joke is the country I live in 
A big joke are the leaders we believe in

Angel of My Dreams (A short story) Episode 1

I saw this girl on a sunny afternoon. She was like an angel from above. Her beauty radiated like the sunlight. Her attractiveness left other girls in a shadow. “Oh my God!!! This must be an Angel”. “Did she leave her wings in heaven”? “Are the wings invincible on Earth or are they invincible only to humans?” These thoughts raced over and over again in my mind. Would she fly me around the world? I thought to myself. Damn!!! She certainly wouldn’t notice a ‘nobody’ like me. I thought again, yet my imaginations didn’t seem to care.
